Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 6+ years in a technical software development role with progression into technical leadership.
- 4+ years of deep experience architecting and developing enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework.
- Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable RESTful microservices and API ecosystems.
- Advanced expertise with cloud services (AWS or Azure), containerization (Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate), and serverless (Lambda).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Proven track record in database design, complex SQL optimization, and efficient ORM management.
- Deep knowledge of secure development, security testing methodologies, and tools like Snyk or Qualys.
- Strong inclination toward CI/CD automation, DevOps principles, and performance tuning.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to mentor team members and present to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and deliver complex application features, setting high technical standards and mentoring junior/mid-level engineers.
- Shape the agile delivery lifecycle from architecture refinement to production releases.
- Own non-functional requirements to ensure system resilience, security, and performance at scale.
- Evaluate and implement emerging industry trends, AI tools, and elastic cloud technologies.
- Embed secure development practices and vulnerability mitigation into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Partner with product management and engineering teams to align technical strategies with business priorities.
- Provide strategic tier-3 support for production systems.
