Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer or comparable role with expertise in identity, access, or security systems.
- Strong practical understanding of AuthN and AuthZ concepts (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, JWT, RBAC, ABAC).
- Proficiency in backend development using Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
- Experience designing and evolving scalable software architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals: version control, automated testing, deployment automation, and Agile practices.
- Strong understanding of database design, monitoring, and observability.
- Experience working with highly available and distributed systems.
- Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale centralized Authentication (AuthN) and Authorization (AuthZ) platforms.
- Solve complex engineering challenges involving high scale, resilience, fault tolerance, and low latency.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to establish secure patterns for user-to-service and service-to-service communication.
- Own the full software development lifecycle including architecture, development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design and evolve secure, scalable software architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews while reinforcing engineering standards.
- Monitor service performance, respond to production incidents, and conduct post-mortems.
- Mentor other engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence.
