Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Financial Control, Accounting, or Finance Management.
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks or a comparable accounting platform.
- Experience managing financial transactions, reconciliations, and expenditure.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience identifying cost-saving opportunities or improving financial processes.
- Ability to identify unusual trends, discrepancies, and financial risks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good commercial awareness and the ability to understand the bigger picture.
- Experience working independently and taking ownership of a financial function.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day financial control and accounting activities.
- Manage and review financial transactions, expenditure, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and identify unusual trends, discrepancies, or potential risks.
- Review expenditure and identify opportunities for cost savings and greater efficiency.
- Support improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting.
- Provide clear financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
