Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, outsourced accounting, advisory, audit, controller, or financial operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, internal controls, and business processes.
- Interest in transitioning into a financial technology, ERP, or software implementation consulting career.
- Strong communication, documentation, and client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Sage 300 Cloud, QuickBooks Online, Xero, FloQast, or similar financial systems preferred.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Asana or Monday.com preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete structured onboarding and training on financial software platforms and implementation methodologies.
- Own the project lifecycle for assigned ERP implementations, including planning, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Translate client finance requirements into system setup and workflow recommendations.
- Configure software solutions such as Sage Intacct and Sage 300 Cloud.
- Conduct client training sessions and prepare process documentation and handover materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and better use of financial systems.
- Track all implementation tasks, deliverables, risks, and blockers in the team's system of record.
