Requirements
- Strong experience in engineering and process management in an agile environment.
- Knowledge or certification of standards addressing quality of software artifacts such as ISO/IEC 25010 or ASPICE.
- Proven track record of developing and growing people and teams.
- Experience leading successful compliance and certification efforts.
- Extensive knowledge of stakeholder management within complex regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with Linux.
- Background as a software developer is preferred.
- Experience establishing product engineering development metrics and KPIs.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to make Ubuntu suitable for automotive, aerospace, and industrial robotics applications.
- Transform complex regulatory demands into engineering excellence practices.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to implement continuous improvement processes and quality standards.
- Define and track engineering quality metrics and KPIs.
- Establish strategic relationships with external working groups, committees, and partners.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams in adopting high-quality development values.
