Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract operations.
- Hands-on experience with intake-to-procure or workflow platforms (e.g., Zip, Coupa, Ariba).
- Experience reviewing and redlining commercial agreements in partnership with Legal teams.
- Demonstrated success running sourcing events or renewals through to final signature.
- Ability to present sourcing recommendations, cost analysis, and commercial trade-offs to diverse audiences.
- Experience managing a concurrent pipeline of requests in a workflow system.
- Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) for professional tasks.
- Proven practice of verifying AI output against source documentation before use.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related field preferred.
- Certification such as CPSM or CIPS preferred.
- Experience with SaaS licensing models and vendor risk processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement lifecycle from intake triage and sourcing through purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and invoice matching.
- Improve procurement processes within Zip and other systems to reduce cycle times and maintain clean data.
- Execute sourcing events from scoping to award, including vendor evaluations, RFx execution, and renewals.
- Build business cases for award and renewal decisions based on TCO, license rightsizing, and market benchmarking.
- Lead commercial negotiations and partner with Legal, Security, and Privacy to secure favorable terms.
- Use AI for tasks like contract summarization, redlining, and market research while ensuring output verification.
- Develop and provide training, playbooks, and guidance to internal business stakeholders.
