Job Details

Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience or Master’s degree with at least 6 years in supply chain, procurement, contracts, or law.
An additional 4+ years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience negotiating terms and conditions in a lead role.
Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and commercial risk management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
Strong analytical, project management, and written/verbal communication skills.
Experience in aerospace, aviation, or a highly regulated technical industry is preferred.
Familiarity with SAP or Costpoint ERP systems is advantageous.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and commercial procurement practices is beneficial.

Develop procurement specifications, statements of work, and agreement terms.
Lead complex RFQ/RFP processes, including evaluation, negotiation, and award selection.
Source specialized materials, equipment, and services balancing cost, quality, and risk.
Negotiate complex contractual terms including FAR and DFARS provisions.
Manage supplier agreements and maintain effective relationships throughout their lifecycle.
Collaborate with legal, engineering, quality, and operations teams to align procurement decisions.
Implement strategies to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risks.
Ensure compliance with public laws, internal policies, and import/export requirements.
