Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Strong math foundation (Math, STEM-related, or Education majors preferred).
- Availability during Pacific Time teaching windows: Wed-Fri 4pm-8pm and Sat-Sun 9am-8pm.
- Availability to work on at least one weekend day.
- Passion for teaching and supporting student academic growth.
- Strong service mindset with proactive communication skills for parents and team members.
- Self-reflective and open to feedback with the ability to adjust teaching approaches.
- Commitment to at least one year of employment (August 2026 – May 2027).
- Tutoring, mentoring, or classroom teaching experience is a plus.
- Math competition background (e.g., AMC, Math Kangaroo) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach school or competition math in a clear, engaging, student-centered way using provided curriculum and instructional guidance.
- Lead virtual classes with approximately 18 students while maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Grade student homework and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Communicate professionally with students and parents regarding learning plans and progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and lesson preparation.
