Requirements
- Current teaching certification in Indiana.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of individualized learning principles.
- Dependable, organized, and patient professional approach.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).
- Ability to learn various online tools, systems, and programs.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam.
- Ability to maintain a regular schedule of 25-27 hours per week.
- Availability during core business hours of 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. MT.
Responsibilities
- Review and grade student learning logs, providing timely, actionable feedback.
- Work synchronously with students in 1:1, small-group, or large-group settings.
- Mentor and tutor students enrolled in assigned courses.
- Create engaging lessons, activities, or learning opportunities tailored to individual needs.
- Identify at-risk students and coordinate appropriate routes to intervention.
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide guidance and support.
- Attend IEP meetings as needed and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Support in-person student testing sessions within the state of Indiana during designated testing windows.
