Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time music classroom teaching experience at the 6-12 grade level.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education or in a music-related field.
- Familiarity with writing lesson objectives and creating objective-aligned lesson materials.
- Experience creating well-structured and effective lessons.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to make learning accessible, engaging, and age-appropriate.
- Experience using technology to support instruction, including Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage schedules, and meet deadlines.
- Access to a computer (with camera) and reliable high-speed internet.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop music educational content, including video scripts, assessments, and written materials for grades 6-12.
- Ensure all content is pedagogically sound, engaging, age-appropriate, and accessible for students.
- Write clear, measurable lesson objectives and align materials to meet these objectives.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse student populations and learning needs.
- Continuously evaluate and refine content based on feedback and educational outcomes.
- Collaborate with peers on curriculum development and participate in feedback-oriented processes.
