Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Resources, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in clean energy development, power origination, or utility-scale energy infrastructure planning.
- Expertise building and maintaining financial or project models in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Hands-on experience navigating ISO/RTO interconnection processes.
- Proficiency with spatial tools like ArcGIS Online and federal/county regulatory databases.
- Ability to apply AI optimization tools to workflow efficiency.
- Experience with accounting reconciliation.
- Strategic, analytical approach to problem-solving.
- High adaptability in fast-moving energy markets.
- Strong alignment with company core values.
Responsibilities
- Screen and analyze greenfield site opportunities using ArcGIS Online and AI optimization frameworks.
- Assess regional grid capacity, transmission constraints, and market dynamics to formulate entry strategies.
- Review federal and county-level zoning and land use requirements to validate project feasibility.
- Manage day-to-day project budgets, schedules, and development tools to ensure projects stay on track.
- Prepare actionable updates for senior leadership and investment committees.
- Develop and own financial valuation models in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Perform accounting reconciliations across multi-departmental budgets.
- Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Permitting to integrate technical constraints into project strategies.
