Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Foundational knowledge of core information security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Understanding of data definitions (PII vs. PHI) and technical security controls like authentication, logical access, and encryption.
- Baseline exposure to cloud infrastructure architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience executing or mapping data within compliance automation platforms (e.g., Drata, Vanta, Secureframe).
- Experience managing vendor risk portals (e.g., OneTrust, ServiceNow, Whistic, UpGuard, or Zip).
- Commitment to working a standard schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM US Eastern Time (ET).
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a professional home office environment.
- Ability to work in a high-velocity environment with time-sensitive deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Complete and submit security questionnaires by leveraging established response frameworks, internal policy documentation, and compliance control libraries.
- Research and validate client-specific questions that fall outside standard frameworks by sourcing evidence and coordinating with internal teams.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all deliverables, ensuring responses reflect current, approved language.
- Flag gaps or outdated documentation when identified to maintain an accurate security posture.
- Collaborate with internal compliance and security teams to verify information and ensure consistency across all submissions.
