Requirements
- Professional experience in information security, GRC, security compliance, third-party risk, or trust services.
- Foundational knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Understanding of security and privacy concepts including PII/PHI, authentication, logical access controls, and encryption.
- Ability to interpret dense security policies, control documentation, and compliance materials.
- Experience responding to security questionnaires, customer due diligence, or vendor risk assessments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established workflows and response standards.
- Excellent workload management and prioritization skills to meet demanding turnaround times.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills when handling ambiguous security questions.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proactive communication style and ability to identify risks early.
- Ability to work 8:00 AM–5:00 PM US Eastern Time.
- Reliable high-speed internet and professional home office environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete and submit customer security questionnaires and due diligence requests using established response frameworks and control libraries.
- Research customer-specific security questions that fall outside standard frameworks and identify supporting evidence.
- Validate responses using compliance platforms, security documentation, and internal resources.
- Review all deliverables for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and structural quality before submission.
- Manage third-party and vendor security questionnaires across Excel matrices, cloud portals, and risk management platforms.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to verify information and maintain organizational posture.
- Prioritize multiple time-sensitive requests and communicate potential blockers or risks.
