Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 6-8+ years of progressive clinical supply chain and logistics experience, with at least 5 years directly managing global clinical supply.
- Demonstrated independent ownership of global Phase 2 or Phase 3 clinical studies.
- Hands-on experience with global clinical trial distribution including import/export documentation and customs clearance.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, clinical supply forecasting, and IRT systems.
- Working knowledge of GMP, GDP, GCP, and global import/export regulations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to make risk-based decisions with incomplete information in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a small biotechnology or startup environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts, supply plans, and scenario models based on clinical enrollment and inventory assumptions.
- Monitor inventory and manage resupply across global depots and sites, implementing mitigation plans as needed.
- Develop and execute clinical supply strategy for IRT systems, including system configuration and user acceptance testing.
- Drive country activation and import-license readiness, coordinating with regulatory and international partners.
- Manage reverse logistics, including returns, reconciliation, and destruction, in compliance with protocol and quality requirements.
- Represent the Clinical Supply Chain team in study and program meetings to communicate status, risks, and recommendations.
- Manage project budgets, inventory dashboards, and vendor performance metrics to ensure cost-effectiveness.
