Requirements
- 12–15 years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within consumer goods, retail, or related.
- Proven track record managing competitive RFP processes with international manufacturing partners.
- Hands-on expertise developing and using clean-sheet costing models.
- Understanding of commodity costing, manufacturing efficiency, and supply-market dynamics.
- Ability to negotiate commercial terms while maintaining quality and supply standards.
- Analytical and quantitative skills for evaluating costs and business opportunities.
- Experience partnering with merchandising, materials, production, and technology teams.
- Ability to execute detailed procurement initiatives hands-on.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute category-level procurement strategies, commercial roadmaps, and vendor distribution plans.
- Drive product-cost reductions through rigorous analysis, negotiation, and supplier competition.
- Design and lead competitive, end-to-end RFP processes.
- Build and apply component-level clean sheets to improve pricing transparency.
- Collaborate with material managers, sourcing teams, and suppliers to optimize finished-goods costing.
- Develop AI-enabled tools to systematize RFP execution and support scenario analysis.
