Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within a retail apparel environment.
- Proven experience leading competitive RFP processes with international manufacturing partners.
- Hands-on experience developing and using clean-sheet costing models.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating costs and identifying opportunities.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with merchandising, materials, production, and sourcing.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Technical aptitude and interest in using AI-powered platforms and LLMs.
- Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on with detailed costing and sourcing.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute commercial category strategies and vendor distribution roadmaps.
- Establish procurement targets and drive product cost improvements.
- Partner with technology teams to embed procurement capabilities and playbooks.
- Lead end-to-end RFP processes from vendor identification to final award.
- Develop AI-enabled tools to systematize RFP execution and scenario analysis.
- Build and apply component-level clean sheets for pricing transparency.
- Review and approve buy plans and margin assumptions.
- Work with manufacturers and suppliers to secure competitive pricing for materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate cost considerations into product design.
