Requirements
- At least 15 years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or 12 years with a Master's degree.
- 7–10 years or more of finance leadership experience with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Deep expertise in cost accounting, operational finance, inventory, standard costs, and cost of revenue.
- Significant experience in complex manufacturing and operational environments.
- Leadership experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare services, or medtech.
- Public-company finance leadership experience including support for SOX-compliant processes and internal/external audits.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial controls, planning, and forecasting.
- Proven experience serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and influencing decisions without direct authority.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, financial planning tools, ERP systems, and data reporting platforms.
- Willingness to travel frequently to key operational sites as business needs require.
- Experience with QAD or a comparable manufacturing ERP is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set the strategy, vision, and direction for finance support across cost-of-revenue and operational functions.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership on operational strategy, financial performance, and risk management.
- Manage long-range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance management for gross margin and operating expenses.
- Transform the operations finance and cost-accounting organization, developing talent and establishing scalable ways of working.
- Provide hands-on oversight of cost accounting processes, including close, standard costing, inventory accounting, and internal controls.
- Lead finance integration activities for acquired businesses.
- Strengthen sales and operations planning by connecting demand forecasts with financial outcomes.
- Develop forward-looking financial models and dashboards connecting business activity with cost and productivity metrics.
