Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a Market Access function.
  • Broad U.S. Market Access experience spanning multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Strong expertise in pricing, contracting, distribution, and/or policy strategies within the U.S. healthcare landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing market access strategies.
  • Deep understanding of reimbursement environments and strategic considerations within relevant customer segments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with, influence, and align cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% for business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of access and contracting strategies designed to expand patient access while supporting business and profitability objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between Customer Engagement Account Teams, pricing and contracting teams, External Affairs, Legal, and therapeutic-area stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative approaches for emerging customer types and complex segments, navigating ambiguity and leading high-impact cross-portfolio initiatives.
  • Provide analytical insights, negotiation strategies, and customer-facing talking points to account teams and Market Access leaders.
  • Participate in customer engagements and negotiations when appropriate, helping teams address complex access and reimbursement challenges.
  • Analyze contract performance across key customers and translate findings into scalable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Partner with segment and regional account leaders to strengthen strategic relationships, support account planning, and address complex commercial challenges.
  • Monitor healthcare industry trends, policy developments, reimbursement changes, and customer evolution to identify risks and emerging opportunities.
