Requirements
- Master’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years, or Associate’s degree plus 5 years, or 6 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of hospital operations and patient care processes.
- Strong data-analysis capabilities and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with healthcare information technology, clinical operations, financial systems, or enterprise application environments.
- Understanding of revenue cycle processes, charge capture, and billing workflows.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Epic certification is preferred, particularly current Epic Resolute Hospital Billing certification.
- Experience implementing or supporting integrated enterprise hospital systems, preferably Epic.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, validate, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain Epic Hospital Resolute and related revenue cycle applications.
- Develop and document application functionality, workflows, and system solutions for accurate charge capture.
- Translate clinical and operational requirements into system designs and sustainable workflow improvements.
- Develop and execute test plans to identify and resolve system deficiencies.
- Extract and analyze financial and clinical data to support revenue integrity and operational decision-making.
- Monitor productivity and revenue cycle indicators to identify backlogs or potential revenue opportunities.
- Provide training and education to staff regarding revenue cycle processes and system functionality.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical, financial, and information technology stakeholders.
