Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping production mobile applications.
- Several years of hands-on React Native development.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern JavaScript, including navigation and state management.
- Experience shipping applications to both iOS and Android stores.
- Experience integrating GraphQL APIs, including client caching and error handling.
- Proven ability to improve mobile performance through profiling and debugging.
- Practical experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for mobile.
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and code review skills.
Responsibilities
- Build out Topstep's mobile MVP in React Native and TypeScript, integrating with GraphQL APIs.
- Establish mobile architecture patterns, reusable components, and engineering practices.
- Own mobile features end-to-end, from technical design through App Store and Play Store releases.
- Partner with product and design to translate trader needs into intuitive, accessible experiences.
- Design for high volumes of real-time updates while ensuring responsiveness and clear user actions.
- Build quality into the product through testing, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Mentor engineers through reviews and pairing on architectural decisions and production ownership.
- Support the mobile experience in production and participate in on-call responsibilities.
