Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience as a Software/Product Engineer
- Hands-on coding experience without reliance on AI
- Practical experience with OpenAI Codex and/or Anthropic Claude
- Strong understanding of web application design and architecture
- Practical experience designing and developing backend systems
- Good knowledge of relational databases, APIs, and system integrations
- Sufficient frontend experience to implement and evaluate end-to-end solutions
- Ability to anticipate system-wide impacts and diagnose production issues
- Pragmatic approach to architecture and technical debt
- Ability to independently review and understand AI-generated code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- English at minimum B2 level
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features end-to-end
- Translate product requirements into technical solutions
- Make technical decisions regarding module structure, APIs, and data models
- Analyze the impact of changes on the existing system and identify technical risks
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Support, DevOps, and the CTO
- Maintain pragmatic, maintainable architecture and control system complexity
- Implement and review code while utilizing AI tools effectively
- Validate the correctness and quality of AI-generated code
- Maintain deployment stability and investigate production issues
- Document important technical decisions and participate in code reviews
