Requirements
- BS/BA in a related field.
- 4 or more years of related contracts experience.
- Experience with government and commercial (domestic and international) contracts.
- Strong working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
- Experience with cost reimbursable, award fee, incentive fee, and Firm Fixed Price contracts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and computer fluency.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex issues simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Preferred: In-depth knowledge of FAR and contract types.
- Preferred: Experience working with DCMA or other government agencies.
- Preferred: Experience with Unanet and Salesforce.
- Preferred: NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) or DAWIA certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clear organization of all active contracts, terms, pricing, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare status reports for project managers and management staff.
- Evaluate contract performance, expenditures, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with PWS, FAR, and federal/state regulations.
- Forecast and initiate necessary contract modifications and certifications.
- Collaborate with internal departments and customers to establish effective relationships.
- Assist with financial tracking for all contracts via Unanet.
- Complete contract closeout activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the management team in creating and maintaining SOPs and policies.
- Use Six Sigma or Lean methodologies to improve process efficiency.
