Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2/Adobe Commerce and PHP.
- Deep understanding of Magento architecture including plugins, observers, dependency injection, and service contracts.
- Experience creating schema.graphqls definitions and custom resolvers.
- Experience building and maintaining REST/GraphQL integrations and webhook consumers.
- Practical experience using AI tools or LLM APIs to automate workflows and validate results.
- Proficiency in building scripts using Python, Node.js, or PHP.
- Experience writing maintainable unit tests, preferably with PHPUnit.
- Working knowledge of Liquid, Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs, and app development.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud environments and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of Git branching, code reviews, and release coordination.
Responsibilities
- Own backend development from design through release including custom Magento module development.
- Develop GraphQL capabilities and connect internal and external systems using REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Identify repetitive tasks and implement practical solutions using AI tools and model APIs.
- Improve testing and development workflows by incorporating automated testing into build pipelines.
- Support Shopify development including app development, webhook handlers, and Liquid customizations.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and environment management.
