Job Details

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Track record of shipping ML/LLM-powered features to production and owning their quality.
Deep knowledge of LLM application engineering: prompting, structured outputs, retrieval/context assembly (RAG), and agentic workflows.
Experience with evaluation methods: golden datasets, offline harnesses, online monitoring, and north-star metrics.
Expertise in retrieval and embeddings: vector search, semantic retrieval quality, and data/label flywheels.
Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
Familiarity with modern backend stacks (Node.js/NestJS, MongoDB, message queues).
Fluent use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or agentic coding.
Ability to think critically and translate prototypes into solutions for real customer problems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a customer-centric mindset.

Own AI features end-to-end, from problem statement to GA, including initiative classification, narratives, work codes, daily themes, compliance, and vision extraction.
Move features through rollout tiers (prototype, design partner, beta, GA) using eval baselines and capacity planning.
Build and defend evaluation harnesses, including golden datasets, north-star metrics, and online monitoring.
Lead the 'meaning' layer of the semantic stack, including retrieval semantics, embedding quality, and the label flywheel.
Push output quality through context assembly, prompt optimization, and per-customer/per-firm generation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to define measures of success and deliver high-quality solutions.
