Requirements
- Strong creative skills with the ability to translate strategic objectives into compelling marketing concepts and materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of creative initiatives.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience producing marketing collateral; presentation development experience is a plus.
- Experience working across multiple creative mediums, including writing, video, events, and visual content.
- Experience leading, coordinating, or collaborating with creative professionals across different disciplines.
- Ability to manage multiple creative needs while maintaining quality, consistency, and alignment with priorities.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Familiarity with G-Suite, Slack, and JIRA is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with approximately 5–7 hours of availability per week.
- Willingness to make a minimum six-month commitment to the volunteer role.
Responsibilities
- Translate brand strategy into powerful, purposeful creative concepts that strengthen and elevate the organization’s visual identity.
- Partner with marketing leads across different functional areas to support creative requirements and deliver marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand objectives, priorities, timelines, and creative needs.
- Lead and coordinate a creative team that may include Designers, Copywriters, Editors, and Project Managers.
- Build and maintain a network of external creative professionals who can be engaged based on project pipelines and specific creative skill requirements.
- Oversee creative contributions across multiple mediums, including written content, visual materials, video, presentations, and events.
- Document creative marketing processes, responsibilities, workflows, and best practices for the organization’s knowledge hub.
