Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
- Depth in one of: product software, data pipelines, modeling/applied AI, or production AI systems.
- Experience as the sole or lead engineer on client engagements.
- Proven track record of delivering within external repositories and constraints without supervision.
- Direct client-facing experience, including scoping work and negotiating requirements.
- Experience with AI coding agents integrated into the repository and development workflow.
- Proficiency with Azure or AWS cloud deployment.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., GitHub Actions, Terraform).
- C1/C2 English proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with compliance regimes like SOC 2 or HIPAA is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire development lifecycle from discovery and design to build, verification, and post-release support.
- Manage technical discovery and scope work directly with clients.
- Verify acceptance criteria and demonstrate product quality without a separate QA phase.
- Maintain high engineering standards in client environments using automated audits and CI/CD pipelines.
- Handle production incidents and take accountability for system performance.
- Act as the primary technical interface for the client, managing expectations and technical negotiations.
