Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, accounting, or business analytics.
- Professional experience within CPG, food and beverage, manufacturing, or consumer products.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, gross margin, trade spend, COGS, inventory, and operating expenses.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and strong financial modeling skills.
- Experience working with ERP, financial planning, and business intelligence platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, Adaptive, Anaplan, SAP, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Ability to work with large datasets and transform detailed analysis into clear, business-oriented recommendations.
- Strong understanding of customer, channel, SKU, and product-level financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong business judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Maintain and enhance financial models covering revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and cash flow.
- Lead variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance to identify key business drivers.
- Partner with Sales to evaluate customer profitability, trade spend, pricing, and promotional ROI.
- Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to monitor COGS, freight, and manufacturing cost variances.
- Own departmental expense reporting and monitor budget spending across key functions.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting infrastructure, and financial storytelling capabilities.
