Requirements
- Deep experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications in cloud-native environments.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted development workflows and interest in autonomous agents.
- Strong product and business acumen with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Understanding of systems and data, particularly event-driven architectures and analytical pipelines.
- Full-stack engineering capabilities including React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and Expo/React Native.
- Backend experience with Laravel/PHP or equivalent experience building performant systems at scale.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and AWS.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in fintech, embedded finance, payments, payroll, lending, BNPL, or ACH is highly valued.
- Ability to travel for company onsites 2–4 times per year.
Responsibilities
- Own features and initiatives end-to-end, partnering with product, design, and data teams to define technical strategy and align implementation with business outcomes.
- Design and build resilient, scalable systems that account for latency, transaction volume, and event-driven data pipelines.
- Develop and deploy AI-enabled product capabilities, including features powered by modern AI models, autonomous agents, and agentic workflows.
- Drive the adoption of AI-native engineering practices and modern development tools to improve velocity and quality.
- Instrument key metrics, monitor performance dashboards, and iterate on products post-launch based on user behavior.
- Contribute across the full technology stack, taking ownership from frontend experiences to backend services, databases, and infrastructure.
- Help shape architecture while maintaining a focus on performance, security, and operational reliability.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional environment and travel occasionally for company onsite meetings (2–4 times per year).
