Requirements
- 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- 1–2 years of hands-on SvelteKit experience or deep experience with React/Vue with ability to ramp up quickly.
- Strong TypeScript expertise, including generics and discriminated unions.
- Practical experience with Fastify or comparable Node.js frameworks.
- Hands-on PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, migrations, and query performance analysis.
- Production experience with Tailwind CSS.
- Demonstrable evidence of shipped work via GitHub or a live product.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate a production incident you personally resolved.
- Strong ownership mindset and experience working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Ability to work remotely within Europe with significant overlap with team working hours.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship SvelteKit applications end to end, including routing, server-side rendering, and client-side state management.
- Develop maintainable TypeScript components using advanced typing patterns.
- Create responsive, accessible interfaces with Tailwind CSS.
- Build and maintain backend services using Fastify including request validation and authentication middleware.
- Design and modify PostgreSQL schemas, manage migrations, and optimize queries.
- Own frontend performance, CI/CD pipelines, and production debugging.
- Work directly with the founder to shape product decisions and technical foundations.
