Requirements
- 12–15+ years of federal business development and capture experience within the Government Contracting (GovCon) sector.
- Demonstrated success generating $50M+ in annual federal contract awards.
- Proven experience leading capture efforts for large federal opportunities valued at $50M–$250M.
- Established relationships with senior stakeholders within agencies such as HHS, DHS, Air Force, or Army.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, contracting practices, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with federal contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, OASIS/OASIS+, DHS vehicles, and Department of War IDIQs preferred.
- Background in IT modernization, AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or analytics valued.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and prioritize strategic federal opportunities across targeted agencies, including HHS, DHS, Air Force, and Army.
- Develop and manage a qualified federal opportunity pipeline in the $250M–$500M range.
- Leverage executive-level relationships with government program offices and acquisition leadership.
- Lead capture activities from market intelligence and opportunity shaping through proposal development and contract award.
- Develop differentiated win themes, competitive positioning, and teaming approaches.
- Coordinate with proposal, technical, pricing, and contracts teams to develop competitive solutions.
- Establish strategic relationships with major federal systems integrators and technology companies.
- Drive annual federal contract awards of $50M+.
