Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
- Approximately 10 years of sales and/or distribution management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in technical product, manufacturing, industrial, or channel-driven environments.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and close high-value business opportunities.
- Extensive knowledge of markets, products, applications, and competitive dynamics.
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills with complex organizations.
- Proficiency in pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and contribution margin management.
- Ability to provide technical product guidance to cross-functional and external teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate market data into strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Midwest/Central region.
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance during standard operating hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales and business development activities across the Midwest/Central United States to drive growth, market share, and margin performance.
- Support distributor outside-sales teams through technical assistance, product expertise, and joint customer calls.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributor leadership, fabricators, OEMs, and key stakeholders.
- Identify and manage high-value new business opportunities through new customer acquisition and competitive share shifts.
- Create and execute account and branch-level growth plans to increase product adoption and market penetration.
- Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to assess performance and growth potential.
- Implement product and channel strategies in alignment with commercial objectives and margin expectations.
- Collaborate with internal functions such as Supply Chain, Pricing, and Customer Service to ensure effective support and process improvements.
