Requirements
- Advanced scientific or medical degree such as MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent.
- Subspecialty training in oncology.
- At least 8 years of relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology, specifically in solid tumors.
- Clinical experience in solid-tumor oncology combined with prior companion diagnostic medical experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in biomarker incorporation and companion diagnostic development within global clinical studies.
- Deep understanding of laboratory-developed tests and evidence requirements supporting CDx launches.
- Strong knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
- Experience developing or supporting relevant SOPs, policies, and compliant processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal scientific communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex global initiatives with executive presence.
- Strategic leadership experience, preferably with experience managing teams.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global Medical Affairs strategy for companion diagnostics (CDx) aligned with clinical development plans.
- Lead cross-functional planning for CDx development, launch readiness, and program execution.
- Generate and oversee clinical and real-world evidence, including investigator-initiated, utility, and accuracy studies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in oncology and pathology to inform strategy and address adoption barriers.
- Collaborate with Commercial and medical leads to integrate CDx strategies and support market-launch readiness.
- Develop CDx training for medical and field teams and support scientific publications and materials review.
- Represent Global Medical Affairs in alliance partnerships and manage program budgets and timelines.
