Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or higher degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant federal acquisition or contracting experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience applying the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to federal procurements.
  • Federal acquisition knowledge and experience comparable to FAC-C Level II competencies.
  • Experience supporting acquisition actions from planning through award, administration, and closeout.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing federal acquisition packages and purchase request documentation.
  • Experience with multiple contract types, including Firm-Fixed Price, Cost-Reimbursable, Labor Hour, and Time and Materials.
  • Experience supporting IDIQ contracts, BPAs, task orders, delivery orders, call orders, and purchase orders.
  • Experience applying acquisition procedures associated with FAR Parts 12, 13, 15, 37, and 43.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Google Workspace applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide federal acquisition support to program and technical offices throughout the full acquisition lifecycle.
  • Serve as a liaison between program personnel and acquisition professionals to help ensure procurement requirements are properly developed, documented, coordinated, and submitted.
  • Review purchase request packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable acquisition requirements.
  • Develop and assist with acquisition documentation including Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, Performance Work Statements, acquisition plans, and market research reports.
  • Assist with Independent Government Cost Estimates, cost and price analysis, and source selection evaluation criteria.
  • Support acquisition and contract administration activities involving IDIQ contracts, task orders, delivery orders, and Blanket Purchase Agreements.
  • Track contract funding levels and maintain electronic tracking spreadsheets for acquisition actions.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and document relevant decisions and action items.
