Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, facility licensing, or regulatory affairs.
- Knowledge of CMS regulations, state facility licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Experience interpreting and applying complex regulatory information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with governmental agencies is preferred.
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and State Departments of Health is preferred.
- Knowledge of home health regulations.
- Must maintain a dedicated workspace with no interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA data.
- Must have high-speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload).
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including CMS guidelines.
- Prepare and submit facility license applications and renewals to regulatory agencies.
- Oversee and manage Medicaid and Medicare enrollment, renewal, and compliance activities.
- Track expiration dates and coordinate renewal processes for facility licensure.
- Conduct research on healthcare statutes and regulations to provide written reports of findings.
- Perform due diligence and analysis related to healthcare acquisitions, mergers, and relocations.
- Maintain relationships with internal departments and external regulatory agencies.
