Requirements
- 4–10 years of experience in product, engineering, or technical founding.
- Background in devtools, infrastructure, AI/ML, or embedded systems.
- Fluency in technical product development and ability to write detailed specifications.
- Experience working on zero-to-one hardware/software products.
- Demonstrated ability to understand system design tradeoffs.
- Experience with containerized model stacks like vLLM, Ollama, Triton, or Hugging Face.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, edge computing, or AI appliances.
- Knowledge of RAG pipelines, inference optimization, or open-source LLM infra.
- Experience launching pilot programs or selling to technical B2B customers.
- Bias for action and ability to prioritize ruthlessly.
Responsibilities
- Shape the product vision for the first integrated AI appliance.
- Define v1 scope including model selection, use cases, UX, and developer tools.
- Collaborate with engineering on local model serving, fine-tuning workflows, and remote update systems.
- Conduct product discovery with research groups, IT buyers, and development teams.
- Lead roadmap planning, pricing tests, and go-to-market experiments.
- Manage hardware/software integration focusing on reliability and simplicity.
- Build systems for remote diagnostics and customer feedback loops.
