Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, infrastructure-as-code, or API products.
- Deep understanding of platform engineering, including designing or maintaining APIs, CLIs, SDKs, or developer tools at scale.
- Experience defining product strategy and roadmaps for platform or developer-facing products.
- Experience with cloud account management and governance products such as billing, IAM, or audit logging.
- Strong technical background capable of engaging with engineering on API design, authentication flows, rate limiting, and frontend performance.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code ecosystems like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Track record of shipping developer-facing products with measurable impact on adoption and developer satisfaction.
- Experience with cloud provider platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, etc.).
- Understanding of API lifecycle management including versioning and backward compatibility.
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Platform product suite roadmap, covering developer surfaces (REST APIs, Console, CLI, SDKs, Terraform provider) and account-level capabilities.
- Define platform and developer experience strategy aligned to infrastructure roadmap and enterprise customer needs.
- Drive the customer-facing platform surface across APIs, Console UI, CLI, and SDKs to ensure a coherent developer experience.
- Manage the API as a product, including versioning, deprecation policies, rate limiting, and authentication flows.
- Oversee the Console control plane experience in partnership with design and frontend engineering.
- Ensure infrastructure-as-code and programmatic tooling remain best-in-class.
- Lead account management and governance product development, including Billing, IAM, Sub Accounts, and Audit Logs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on technical tradeoffs regarding API design, authentication, and SDK architecture.
- Define and track platform health metrics such as API availability, latency, and developer satisfaction.
