Requirements
- 5+ years in data governance, data management, or analytics.
- Proven track record of supporting or implementing governance programs.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK).
- Working knowledge of modern data stack platforms (Snowflake, dbt, cloud data warehouses).
- Hands-on experience with data catalog/metadata management tools (e.g., DataHub, Alation, Atlan).
- Proficiency in SQL for governance reporting and data quality analysis.
- Exceptional workshop facilitation and consensus-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple workstreams independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Data Domain Model and facilitate the Data Governance Council.
- Partner with Data Stewards to track program adoption metrics and maturity KPIs.
- Support the development and roll-out of enterprise data policies and monitor compliance.
- Own day-to-day operations of the Business Glossary and facilitate definition workshops.
- Enforce metadata standards within the data catalog and drive user adoption.
- Synthesize stakeholder feedback to support enterprise data strategy and deliver data literacy training.
