Requirements
- 8+ years designing and building distributed backend systems, microservices, APIs, and/or data processing systems in Python.
- Deep experience owning system architecture and understanding tradeoffs at scale.
- Track record of partnering with product managers, designers, and data scientists to shape product direction.
- Startup experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively under ambiguity.
- Proven ability to turn ambiguous product needs into production-ready technical architectures.
- Strong proficiency in navigating complex datasets and interconnected tables.
- Working frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong coding fundamentals with a generalist mindset to work across the stack.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and improving team operations.
Responsibilities
- Architect the new incrementality product into a reliable, repeatable experimentation platform.
- Set the technical direction for near-real-time ingestion and processing beyond batch workflows.
- Define patterns for AI-powered workflows that help marketers evaluate performance and act on insights.
- Lead technical efforts on connection-state systems and the partner ecosystem across data ingestion and exports.
- Shape technical architecture for product features such as role-based access control (RBAC).
- Multiply team impact through design reviews, mentorship, and raising engineering standards.
