Requirements
- 8+ years of production software experience, or 6+ with a very strong track record.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and React.
- Ability to work across the stack, including schema, resolvers, and UI components.
- Experience with or strong aptitude to learn React Native and Expo.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or significant technical initiatives without a formal management title.
- Fluency with AI coding tools and agents.
- Pragmatic engineering mindset with a focus on iteration and durable architecture.
- Experience with independent scoping, goal setting, and managing ambiguity.
- Comfort working on unglamorous tasks including bug fixes and test maintenance.
- Must be based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Ship features end to end from database schema and GraphQL resolvers to React components and mobile screens.
- Own and maintain shared core systems including authentication, permissions, notifications, and billing logic.
- Finish and refine the React Native and Expo mobile application.
- Design durable background workflows for scheduling, payments, and integration pipelines.
- Lead a squad by setting technical direction, unblocking engineers, and mentoring through example.
- Collaborate directly with product, design, and marketing to shape the product roadmap.
