Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, PR, equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Business, Finance, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
- Working knowledge of capital markets, valuation, investor behavior, sell-side research, SEC disclosure requirements, and Regulation FD.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to turn complex info into clear investment messaging.
- Excellent writing and communication skills for scripts, presentations, and executive materials.
- Highly organized project management skills to handle multiple priorities and timelines.
- Strong relationship builder with executive presence and influence without authority.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Professional maturity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain investor relations and corporate communications materials such as press releases, earnings scripts, and investor decks.
- Drive internal reviews and approval workflows for communications deliverables.
- Support analyst and institutional investor engagement and assist with investor targeting strategies.
- Monitor engagement metrics, media coverage, market activity, and consensus estimates to provide leadership with insights.
- Translate milestones like earnings and clinical updates into consistent communications for all stakeholders.
- Manage event logistics, timelines, and execution support for town halls and investor days.
- Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure projects remain on budget and aligned with priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, and R&D to ensure accurate and compliant communications.
