Requirements
- 10+ years of senior-level or executive leadership experience in political, nonprofit, advocacy, or social justice environments.
- 5+ years serving as COO, CFO, or comparable role within a mid-sized multi-entity nonprofit.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-entity organizations including C3, C4, and PAC entities.
- Proven track record in financial forecasting, business modeling, and budgeting.
- Deep experience in assessing and mitigating operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Expertise in equity-centered organizational strategy and DEI practices.
- Strong ability to translate complex organizational data into clear messages for diverse audiences.
- Experience leading and managing high-performing Finance and People teams.
- Ability to manage complex, cross-departmental projects under strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of organizational vision, strategic direction, and operating model.
- Partner with the Executive Director and department heads to translate strategic goals into operational objectives and KPIs.
- Direct the Operations Department, overseeing finance, human resources, legal, and risk management functions.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and long-term fiscal sustainability strategies.
- Manage human capital strategies, including talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Lead the enterprise risk management program, including legal operations, liability insurance, and compliance with campaign finance and tax regulations.
