Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fields.
- +4 years of experience in accounting.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant in Colombia (active professional license).
- Strong background in revenue recognition and financial analysis.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Proficiency in Excel, including using formulas, functions, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to execute tasks accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) and billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for all company revenue.
- Oversee accounts receivable portfolio management, executing proactive collections while maintaining a positive client experience.
- Conduct comprehensive revenue analysis to track financial performance, taking ownership of revenue variances versus forecast and Month-over-Month (MoM), and report findings to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, specifically regarding financial, billing, and payment inquiries.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and tools to create financial reports and presentations.
- Apply US GAAP and IFRS guidelines to accurately assess, analyze, and document revenue recognition.
