Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in IT systems administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Monitors, maintains, and supports servers and other IT infrastructure components to ensure high availability and performance.
- Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Assists in setting up security measures, including antivirus solutions, to protect company data and IT infrastructure.
- Plans and executes system upgrades, patches, and installations to keep the IT environment up-to-date and secure.
- Manages backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Maintains detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provides advanced technical support to end-users and assists with IT-related inquiries and issues.
- Leads or participates in IT related projects, including the deployment of new technologies and systems.
