Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in quality assurance or software testing.
- Hands-on experience with manual software testing including functional, regression, and integration.
- Proficiency in documenting and managing defects using platforms like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with at least one test automation framework such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
- Ability to create structured, repeatable test cases and identify edge cases.
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills.
- Availability to work during U.S. business hours.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
- Perform manual functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
- Build, maintain, and improve automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Test APIs and backend functionality using Postman or RestAssured.
- Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to investigate root causes and improve QA processes.
