Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience administering RDS Postgres and Aurora databases.
- Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server database administration.
- Experience with the Databricks platform, including Unity Catalog, notebooks, and pipeline creation.
- 3 years of software development experience building commercial applications.
- Proficiency with modern software engineering principles and practices.
- Demonstrated experience in distributed software delivery teams using Agile/Scrum.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies such as AWS, Serverless, Event-Driven Architecture, SOA, and Microservices.
- Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong knowledge of full software development life cycle including architecture patterns and code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, deliver, maintain, and support data pipelines and applications.
- Architect and deliver high-quality code independently following industry best practices.
- Diagnose and fix production issues while communicating effectively with the development lead.
- Build enterprise applications at scale across front-end and back-end architectures.
- Seek empirical evidence through proof of concepts, tests, and external research.
- Propose, develop, and support customer-facing applications.
