Requirements
- Doctorate degree + 4 years of experience, or Master’s + 7 years, or Bachelor’s + 9 years in market access, payer, or aligned commercial roles.
- Deep understanding of U.S. and global payer environments including coverage, reimbursement, pricing, value drivers, and health policy.
- Significant experience in U.S. market access (e.g., Contracts & Pricing, Payer Marketing) or comparable global market access consulting.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate reimbursement environments and translate analyses into strategic recommendations.
- Strong commercial and analytical capabilities including market research, data analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Ability to work effectively in fluid, matrixed organizations and establish partnerships with global and regional stakeholders.
- Strategic-thinking and conceptual problem-solving skills to structure ambiguous problems.
- Excellent judgment and the ability to make informed assumptions with incomplete data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality analysis under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative, consulting-oriented mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Global Value & Access point of contact for business development assessments involving pricing, coverage, and reimbursement.
- Coordinate with regional, country, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish aligned access and pricing assumptions.
- Lead research and analysis of potential targets, including products, competitors, analogs, and payer environments.
- Develop pricing and access assumptions for revenue forecasts, including scenario analyses and sensitivities.
- Translate complex market research and reimbursement analyses into strategic insights for business development decisions.
- Lead cross-functional discussions to quantify the impact of pricing and access risks and opportunities.
