Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
- Proven experience architecting complex Python projects or frameworks.
- Track record of taking early-stage libraries or products from first users to broad adoption.
- Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Professional experience with a modern frontend framework such as React or Svelte.
- Experience core-contributing to or maintaining open-source software projects.
- Familiarity with WebRTC or WebSockets (nice to have).
- Familiarity with libraries such as pipecat, LiveKit, FastAPI, or Starlette (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core features across team libraries to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Architect complex Python projects and frameworks serving as foundational ML tools.
- Grow early-stage libraries by defining API surfaces, writing documentation, and driving community adoption.
- Develop real-time streaming and networking capabilities for tools like Gradio.
- Collaborate with open-source contributors through code reviews and community engagement.
- Integrate modern frontend technologies for seamless Python-based web applications.
- Adapt to evolving engineering challenges and contribute to product direction.
