Requirements
- 10+ years of experience taking personal ownership of outcomes in complex, large-scale distributed systems.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS ecosystems leveraging Terraform.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and GitOps workflows (Flux, Argo, GitHub Actions).
- Strong coding skills in Python for infrastructure automation.
- Experience implementing Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry at scale.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, API Gateways, load balancing, and network isolation.
- Experience with tokenization, payment processing, or security products (Nice to have).
- BA/BS degree (Nice to have).
- Experience designing mandate, credential-provisioning, authentication, or cryptogram-based workflows (Nice to have).
- Experience applying AI developer tools to engineering workflows (Nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Architect agentic payment infrastructure using Python 3.13+ and FastAPI services.
- Design APIs and domain models for card enrollment, token provisioning, and purchase intents.
- Drive architectural decisions for security, scalability, availability, and developer experience.
- Establish observability patterns using OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
- Automate platform provisioning using Kubernetes APIs and Custom Resource Definitions.
- Define rigorous testing strategies for high-risk payment flows.
- Lead complex technical design reviews and cross-functional initiatives.
- Apply AI-assisted development and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, Security, and external card-network partners.
