Requirements
- 10+ years of total engineering experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on engineering management experience where coding was part of the role.
- Experience building and running cloud-based SaaS products on Azure in production.
- Background in FinOps, including managing cloud availability and cost.
- Deep technical fluency and current experience with modern coding stacks.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams including full-stack and data engineers.
- Track record of transforming engineering team performance and technical quality.
- API-first design philosophy.
- Strong judgment under pressure and clear communication skills.
- Ability to provide and receive direct, candid feedback.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers while owning delivery, technical development, and professional growth.
- Write and review code to remain a credible voice in architectural and technical decisions.
- Drive roadmap and delivery planning in partnership with Technical Product Owners and the Product team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through fast iterations and professional development.
- Manage hiring, performance reviews, and career development for direct reports.
- Operate as a role model and mentor for other engineering managers across the organization.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Design, GTM, and Customer Success teams.
