Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- 4+ years in engineering management roles with active coding responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-based SaaS products on Azure.
- Strong background leading teams in the FinOps space.
- API-first mindset with experience building platform interfaces for humans and agents.
- Management experience with multi-disciplinary teams including full-stack and data engineers.
- Proven track record of improving delivery velocity, technical quality, or team caliber.
- Deep technical fluency with the ability to code at a senior level.
- Strong philosophy on hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure with clear communication.
- Direct and candid communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, owning both its delivery and its development.
- Develop engineers through regular 1:1s, growth plans, performance reviews, and direct feedback.
- Write and review code to maintain a credible voice in architectural and technical decisions.
- Uphold engineering standards through pull-request reviews and efficient release processes.
- Partner with Product Owners and the Product team on scope, sequencing, and roadmap tradeoffs.
- Own team hiring, interview processes, and performance management.
- Communicate across the organization with Product, Design, GTM, and Customer Success teams.
